Alabama member inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame

Congratulations to Alabama member Randy Owen who was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame over the weekend.

Vince Gill, Ray Stevens, and Emmylou Harris were on hand to perform at the ceremony on Sunday in Nashville where Randy, along with Layng Martine, Jr. and Will Jennings were all inducted.

The inductions followed a ceremony at the Nashville Songwriters Association International where Taylor Swift was presented with her record-breaking sixth Songwriter-Artist of the Year Award.

Meanwhile, Rodney Clawson was named its Songwriter of the Year and Lee Brice's hit I Drive Your Truck was declared Song of the Year.
